He played EXACTLY like Allen Iverson! The same mannerisms, the same jumpshot and layup form, same crossovers. Even ran and walked the same. It’s like he studied all of the things AI did for HOURS. And he was good! Kind of creepy though, but to each their own.

I remember playing pickup ball as a teenager in Minneapolis, and there was this guy that would show up to the YMCA with the exact same headband and wristband placement as AI. Some of the same tattoos. The same Iverson signature Reeboks. And the craziest part of all?

Allen Iverson is so ingrained in millennial culture that when I hear “AI” today (which is nearly everyday now), I first think of Allen Iverson — not artificial intelligence. Every time. And I’m not joking.

Finished the Allen Iverson documentary on Prime Video the other day. I don’t think people truly understand how popular AI was during his prime. For millennials, he was (and still is) a legend. He is in my personal Top 10 favorite athletes of all-time — and I have no Georgetown or Philly connections.

It kinda sucks that the closest thing to a superhero we have on earth is just playing baseball
