I bought a few music packs for Rift of the Necrodancer that came out just after the game. They got new special musics and it was fine for me to pay for new, different things. They added a new mode made by a different team in a 50+ hours game, that already got endgame content. This rage is nonsense

This "timing" controversy it's the most nonsense rage inducing thing since the Spiderman puddles. They CLEARLY wanted to do something good for the gamers, giving more contents to play for their brand new Switch 2 and yet everybody went mad for this as it was "carved out content".

I teach animation in a school in my country and it's becoming kinda hard to tell my students "yeah some day you could even work on indie animation project like these" and show stuff made by professionals pushing theirselves to the limit to make their dream project

Honestly, as much as I admire the work behind these projects, I'm kinda baffled that almost immediately "indie animation" turned into "big studio production values". It's like all indie games should look like Last of Us. I mean, this isn't sustainable in any way in the long run.

Hey! I was an animator in this project! It was really challenging (I've picked a scene with a lot of characters and in slow-mo) and in the end I did just the roughs and another animator worked on the clean ups. But there was a looot of talented people in here! Have a look!

I think this is not going to be used for games (in front of a tv why not having a regular bluetooth mouse? in tabletop mode is uncomfortable to use it for long sessions). My guess is that it's for the new online functionalities they tested on Switch 1 and you have to use it just every now and then
