There is something to be said for those holding British citizenship paying taxes here even if they donβt live here, this is the system the US has.
Otherwise they do just slope back here when things get tough and use our NHS, our infrastructure without contributing.
Lib Dem Leader Ed Davey:
"Tax exiles like Isabel Oakeshott and washed up old footballers who mock ordinary people who stay in the UK and pay our taxes... As we protect them, it's only right for tax exiles to start paying taxes to fund our armed forces, just like the rest of us".
Trump says if he had been president, there never would have been a war in Ukraine. So, why is it he couldn't have avoided war with Iran? Just spit ballin'

DOJ's recent 6th Circuit filing misspelled:
Voters as βVotorsβ
Emergency as "Emeregency"
United States as "United Staes"
And, it included a non-party in the caption.
These are the people who want access to your sensitive voting records and who my team fights in court every day.
Robert De Niro, "This is about our country imploding, it's not something from outside, it's something inside"
"If we allow Trump to go any further he'll just take more and more and more"
"People have to push back peacefully in the streets everywhere, from now till mid-terms"

Every country should boycott it, no fans should go.
It's not safe, and it's morally reprehensible in many ways

there is no end to the defence of our politicians as either ignorant or blackmailed when the most likely reason is always that they're behaving in their own venal self interests #auspol
02.03.2026 09:39 β π 557 π 96 π¬ 21 π 7Where are we? A president clearly in mental decline, a compliant Congress afraid to exercise there oversight responsibilities when the useful idiot starts a war. When I served, it never occurred to me that I would ever have to question an order.

I do. They would be worse.
That doesn't mean that Starmer is doing a good job.
If you are in the Western Universe, my opinion we are being taken over by Epstein cronies.
Not one of our leaders will speak out about children being abused or International Law.
I take no credit for this, but I get it! π₯

I see Nigel "always cheated never defeated" Farage is now trying to stop non UK citizens from voting. This would mean my Irish wife would have no right to vote despite giving 20 years of hard work and taxes to the UK state.
And where does it stop - the unemployed/benefit claimants will be next
You know, Mr Prime Minister, you could have just said nothing. That might have been better.

ICE is bad for the US, full stop.
