There is something to be said for those holding British citizenship paying taxes here even if they don’t live here, this is the system the US has.
Otherwise they do just slope back here when things get tough and use our NHS, our infrastructure without contributing.

Lib Dem Leader Ed Davey:

"Tax exiles like Isabel Oakeshott and washed up old footballers who mock ordinary people who stay in the UK and pay our taxes... As we protect them, it's only right for tax exiles to start paying taxes to fund our armed forces, just like the rest of us".

Trump says if he had been president, there never would have been a war in Ukraine. So, why is it he couldn't have avoided war with Iran? Just spit ballin'

DOJ's recent 6th Circuit filing misspelled:

Voters as β€œVotors”
Emergency as "Emeregency"
United States as "United Staes"

And, it included a non-party in the caption.

These are the people who want access to your sensitive voting records and who my team fights in court every day.

Robert De Niro, "This is about our country imploding, it's not something from outside, it's something inside"

"If we allow Trump to go any further he'll just take more and more and more"

"People have to push back peacefully in the streets everywhere, from now till mid-terms"

Again, would love to put some of these questions to him myself, but Reform have banned Byline Times from attending any of their events

He's trying to restrict millions of people's right to vote, based on made up statistics and outright lies, and nobody who is in a position to ask him to prove what he's saying is doing so.

Nigel Farage lied multiple times at his press conference today - including saying no-one who voted Green in Gorton and Denton has a job and he's "certain" Reform won most British born voters in the by-election, based on zero evidence, and yet not a single journalist there pushed back on them

World Cup 2026: What does the Middle East conflict mean for the tournament? What does the US conflict with Iran mean for what was already set to be a highly politicised World Cup this summer?

Every country should boycott it, no fans should go.

It's not safe, and it's morally reprehensible in many ways

there is no end to the defence of our politicians as either ignorant or blackmailed when the most likely reason is always that they're behaving in their own venal self interests #auspol

Where are we? A president clearly in mental decline, a compliant Congress afraid to exercise there oversight responsibilities when the useful idiot starts a war. When I served, it never occurred to me that I would ever have to question an order.

I do. They would be worse.

That doesn't mean that Starmer is doing a good job.

If you are in the Western Universe, my opinion we are being taken over by Epstein cronies.

Not one of our leaders will speak out about children being abused or International Law.

Kaine on Fox: "The president can act to defend US against imminent attack without congressional approval. But if you're going to initiate war, you need Congress. The president not only did not come to Congress, he acted without even notification to the vast majority of us. This is an illegal war."

Allowing Non-British citizens and tax avoiders to own British media poses a grave risk to our democracy

Wait a minute, fifa are expecting Iran to pull out of the world cup, surely as the aggressor the USA should be kicked out. Like Russia, yes?

Uncut Trumpism. No election is valid unless they win it. Farage and Reform UK are outright enemies of democracy and the Mail is actively aiding them.

I see Nigel "always cheated never defeated" Farage is now trying to stop non UK citizens from voting. This would mean my Irish wife would have no right to vote despite giving 20 years of hard work and taxes to the UK state.

And where does it stop - the unemployed/benefit claimants will be next

Eight prominent Americans have resigned because of the Epstein files, but the man mentioned the most in those files is still operating and waging war in the Middle East.

Wow. Universal employees staged a walkout to highlight that ICE has devastated tourism, imperiling their jobs. They aren’t wrong.

ICE is bad for the US, full stop.
