A YouTuber who I criticized last year just got doxxed 2 weeks ago. After some digging, I found what group doxxed her, albeit the posts were recently deleted. During this time, a private video where I levy my complaints about them got a view so Im only slightly fearful this sheep will be a scapegoat.

Watching a bit of them recently is interesting as what they are saying and doing are the same as very small creators. I just think there is a different kind of parasocial relationship that can develop if you were a 300 sub YouTuber with no influence vs a 300,000 sub YouTuber with a lot of influence.

A VRChat YouTuber I used to watch came out as nonbinary this week and has been steaming to 600-1000 people daily. I support who they are becoming, but I know how unstable their life is right now and how emotionally vulnerable they have become. I really hope that things dont turn parasocial for them.
