In a classic case of terrible social media account management, I’d completely forgotten that we had this account here.

We’ve been writing a lot of new material, many starting from piano demos. In keeping with the times, much of it is dark, bleak & heavy.

Ironically, we’re having a lot of fun.

I’ve often wondered how much better that album would be with a filthy, subby bass.

Enjoying watching footage from the current Gavin Friday tour. The magnificent ‘Ecce Homo’ was probably my favourite album of 2024 and I was sad to have missed out on tickets for the London date. The ‘Caucasian Walk’ redux is so good. Amazing performer; still. Gavin’s live band are superb too.

We released this live album on Friday. No overdubs. Only a handful of tiny correctional edits. We wanted an honest representation of how we sound live and we’re proud of this recording.

No live dates lined up yet but hopefully that changes soon. In the meantime:

Heard this song on BBC 6Music this evening and it knocked me sideways. Have had the EP on repeat a few times since and now onto ‘Formless’. So happy to have discovered your beautiful work.

Imagine the uproar if it turns out to just be Trent & Atticus, sat studiously behind some big racks of synths, performing their soundtrack work on a stage covered with tea lights and a single projection screen showing time lapse coastal footage. For 3 hours.

I’ll certainly log in and have a go next week. I can’t stand the O2 but if they bring anything like the production they had when I saw them there in 2014, it’ll be amazing. Can’t help but feel this tour might come with some surprises. Self Destruct redux perhaps? Lohner? Clouser? Brass section?

Yes! They were incredible on the recent UK dates. It was a joy to see them again.

Love this track. In the best way, it’s like stepping into a Time Machine to a better era when shoegaze, post-punk and indie pop all intertwined innocently and seamlessly.

Picked up a bootleg cassette of this at Camden Market in the 90s. The length of the setlist is what decided it for me. They certainly seemed to thrive an achieve more of a ‘journey’ with the longer sets.

He really does. He was the main stage compere at my first festival (Reading 94) and he’s been a favourite of mine ever since. He *knows*. I don’t believe in music being ‘depressing’ FWIW. If it makes you think and/or feel, it works. If it doesn’t, it shouldn’t be on the airwaves. Simples!

Me too! To be fair, I don’t think it’s too outlandish - I remember driving home one afternoon and Lammo dropped ‘Warhorse’ by @benefitstheband.bsky.social which almost gave me heartburn.
