Our photograph captures a quiet, peaceful scene beside a calm river, filled with cool colours and gentle reflections that give the whole image a soothing atmosphere. In the foreground, dark blue water stretches across the lower half of the picture. The surface is smooth with only slight ripples, like soft breathing across the river. Tiny white specks dot the water here and there, and the deep blue reflects the sky above. The reflections of trees and a building shimmer gently in the water, slightly blurred and wavy, giving the impression of a painting slowly moving. I assume it was made for the exhibition based on the peasant style. There were several examples on display although poor lighting didnt help, the whole place is dimly lit because they can't afford the power bills for such a huge building. Romanian traditional dresses are usually colourful & ornate
