It is the brightest star in the northern constellation of Auriga and I could see it tonight with the naked eye.

Found these guys in Raymond. Most of the time we see them on the ground. This was a treat. It seems to be that time of the year when they are flying south for the winter. Didn't have my camera ready or I would have tried for a shot.

The brown cow is a shorthorn or perhaps a shorthorn cross. The black cow is a black angus.

The color of this animal is dapple gray. The breed is most likely Arabian as they are common stock in this area.

This bird was some distance away for the lens I had on. Taken at Capitol Lake, Olympia, WA.

Taken from a hilltop in the mountains about 15 miles from home.

Many of these pictures are around but all are different. They are taken from a different location or different clouds. I vividly remember when this old girl blew up. I was in the US Army on a tour in Korea and we could see the smoke. That's a long way. The flight to Korea is 18-20 hours.

I think I took this with a TTartisan 500mm lens and Canon EOS 90d. Neither the lens nor camera has image stabilization and I didn't have my tripod with me. The building itself is located in Olympia, WA and the water is Capitol Lake.

I have uploaded a color photo of this American Quarter Horse mare. That picture was a full few of the horse. I decided to do something a little different. When I started photography I did so in a dark room with a red light or total darkness never forgetting my roots to this most rewarding hobby.

This is the kind of plow most won't remember. A 4 footed animal was used to pull this plow through the fields. Horses, mules or oxen. Back on my late uncle's farm in Illinois I used mules when I was a small boy.

This is a Gambrel Barn and as you can see it has two separate slopes to the roof. This is intended to maximize space in the hay loft.

We went to Capitol Lake and were fortunate enough to find ducks, geese and seagulls.

There were 3 or 4 Porsche driving down the highway. I am guessing they came from a car show or perhaps Shelton where they have a small race track.

I believe these are Anna Apples. According to google they are not. They claim they are Maiden Blush, Paula Red, McIntosh, Liberty, Honeycrisp, or Gala. Obviously Google doesn't know what they are either.

This appears to be a General Motors Diesel (GMD). Probably made between January 1972 and July of 1986. This was used by many North American railroads in its time.

This appears to be a mare, American Quarter Horse and a little sway backed.
