Well, at least I didn't WASTE my money buying a new SSD. Better to get it now (and on sale) before the prices get hiked up even more.

Grrr. This is the one dealbreaker for the OS I had, but I can't seem to get it running, at least not on "VirtualBox."

Also I bit the bullet and got a SSD, so I can try out Linux.

Who knows, maybe it'll be great, maybe it'll suck. But it's defintely worth trying, if for no other reason than to avoid CoPilot and Microsoft's "no offline" rules.
