The cherry mead is back up on deck! After removal of the cherries and stabilization it had a wonderful deep red hue and clarity. The second round of cherries went in along with two vanilla beans. Now for it to go back to waiting

I started this painting a couple of weeks ago, but half way through, I got real sick. Endless coughing; couldn't get anything done. I ended up struggling quite hard to finish this painting. I suspect that feeling might have had an impact on the overall mood of this piece.
