Sad: Looks like, in addition to Kornacki, MSNBC lost joint custody of the NBC News election night theme, as well as the "Decision XX" name.
Versant needs to spend some coin for a better theme before midterms, because the one they're using tonight is generic as all get-out.
ABC smartly rebroadcast these two episodes on Sunday night, adding roughly 2M viewers to it audience. With DVR+Hulu, the SCRUBS premiere has amassed a total average audience of 11.36M viewers through its first five days in the market.
It's just one week, but Disney got SCRUBS sampled.
Nestled in @tvmojoe.bsky.social @vulture.com's report on how the Dropout/Rookie crossover happened:
-
"Reich also revealed that he and his Dropout colleagues taped another small cameo on The Rookie that may pop up toward the end of this season...."

Gen Alpha+Z viewers love the indie comedy of Dropout and... The Rookie? ABC's veteran drama is having a ratings surge, and part of it has to do with stunts like this week's episode, in which the @dropout.tv gang appeared. How'd it happen?

Massive debut for MARSHALS (nee Y: MARSHALS). First episode of CBS's YELLOWSTONE spin-off drew 9.5M same-day viewers Sunday. It's the biggest debut of the season for a new show, and the best scripted debut on a network without an NFL lead-in since CBS launched FBI in 2018.

Had a feeling Apple TV was holding off announcing the fate of PALM ROYALE until after the Actor Awards, and, sure enough, Deadline just confirmed that it will end after season two. Not a shock given its numbers and modest buzz, but I enjoyed it, flaws and all. And what a cast...

I will defend the NYT and subscribe to the NYT because they do a *ton* of great work across a range of beats. Coverage of official Washington and this WH? Not so much (even though even there, they break important stories.)
I get why you took issue with my post, and have no prob with you doing so!
(BTW, I trusted people could see the headline right below my post and get that I wasn't criticizing the Times for misrepresenting the story for clicks or trying to pull a fast one on anyone... though I still maintain that the body of the story should have the same couching/framing as the hed)
03.03.2026 01:09 β π 21 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Also, for a paper as big as the Times and with as many resources, there's no excuse to make the frame so narrow for this kind of roundup. It'd be another thing if they were doing a fully reported story on base reaction. But "Here are six people who all love Trump" feels way too narrow, IMO
03.03.2026 01:07 β π 80 π 3 π¬ 1 π 0The headline does, yes, but the body of the story does not. But my point isn't "this story is misleading," it's that the first and so far only Vox populi story from the Times focuses not just on the right, but on the right in TX-- it doesn't get much Trump-ier.

You really can't make this up.
"What do Americans think of Mr. Trumpβs decision to attack Iran? We asked six voters in Texas for their answer ahead of Tuesdayβs primary election."
All conservatives; four of six are white men.

Americans are dying in a war of choice and heβs droning on about drapes, and the media will just ignore this and paint Trump as a tough commander in chief laser-focused on the job. Heβs a blithering idiot, but he takes his calls, so itβs all good.
