Added a few new additions to the tank!! Picked up a fire shrimp such a beautiful creature, and yes I totally named it jacque!! I also picked up a leopard nassarius snail which is neat. Can’t wait to get a pair of clowns for the tank next!!

So after finding out fish medication is banned in Canada, I cannot quarantine my fish or treat any illness in the future. However, I did recently come across a petition to possibly change this.

Black Friday was a blast! Upgraded to a bigger tank and picked up a small powerhead. I had a blast redoing my aquascape too! Today, I got crafty and made a custom acrylic lid to cut down on evaporation and help my heater work less hard.

Nice!! I picked up a rimmed one as that’s all I could afford. Figured it would be better than two 10 gallon tanks.

I just upgraded to a 20 gallon, there was a decent deal at my local shop. So I’m going to transfer everything over into the 20 and keep the 10 for a quarantine tank. I see but what if a jack fails?

How’d you about reinforcing the floor? I wasn’t aware you can do that post development.

Hoping to one day upgrade to a larger tank in maybe a year or two fingers crossed. I also have a size restriction for the place I’m staying at, with a max size I believe of 20 gallons. But I’m hoping I can see about them allowing me to maybe get a 33 gallon in the future.
