Sad to see the Dome on the corner of Union street perish in the fire last night. It appeared in Stramash and the Crimson Devil a few times it hadn’t had neon advertising on it for decades but it was still a prominent view looking down the street.

If you're Scottish (or maybe from the north of England) you'll know who Oor Wullie and The Broons are as they celebrate their 90th birthday. I've drawn them a few times for licensing items and other odd things and it's always a cultural thrill.

I thought about @jamescorcoran78.bsky.social when I saw that blaze last night (see image)... my eldest kid came home for dinner last night & said there was smoke pouring out of a vape shop at central station at 4pm; we never thought any more about it until he saw the video about 11pm last night

It’s worth the difference for me as weirdly I post more international than Uk so I can at least know it’s arrived in the other countries

Yeah that’s what I do for Uk comics. Internationally I mostly always insist on tracked and same for artwork as a comics easier to replace. In fairness I have never really had much trouble with missing or damaged stuff.

Yeah it’s just a deliberate attempt to get up to small parcel prices of their competitors. It also irks that first class in 48 hours is an aspiration rather than a guarantee. Toying with doing Stramash 2 and 3 together to keep the postage down and then maybe doing one shots after that.
