See Launceston too. High level urban policy maybe too lofty. Needs to be more transactional?

Is the fed govt is right level of govt for practically focused urban policy? Maybe too high level and generalist with poor implementation pathways? Speaking as former member of Commonwealth Cities Expert Advisory Panel 2010-12. Lot of work and not much follow up.

Absolutely true but easier said than done. The planning controls will not do enough to mitigate extreme heat (and thus there will be higher energy bills) or climate resilience and adaptation.
