Cardiologist, NET advocate and cancer patient Malcolm Legget receives posthumous New Year Honour The late Malcolm Legget - who has become a MNZM for services to cardiology - used to say: "It is amazing what you can achieve if you don't mind who gets the bouquet."

I had the honour of both working for and looking after Dr Legget as a house officer at Auckland Hospital.

Glad to see him posthumously recognised in the New Years Honours. A truly remarkable man.
