In a cartoon by Côté, a cartoonist seated working at a drawing board is bombarded with various objects (arrows, bouquets, bricks, daggers, flower pots, lanterns, shoes) as well as emoji and is protected from impact by the leading edge of the board. The tagline reads “Que devíent le métier de caricaturiste? (Whatever happened to the cartoonist’s profession?)”
