The government must use the Parliament Act to overrule the small
Number of peers looking to run the Assisted Dying bill out of time to pass. The Parliament Act allows bills backed by MPs in two successive sessions, but rejected by peers, to pass into law without the approval of the House of Lords.

Congratulations #BritishAirways another flight and another delay! Glad you’re keeping up your flawless record of not taking off or landing on time in any flight I have taken in the last 2 years!

Six Peers have tabled half of all amendments to try to block the Commons-backed assisted dying Bill.

They would rather derail the democratic process than allow dying people choice.

Email your MP and urge them, as your elected representative, to speak out now.

Politics isn't working. It's time to call time on the broken culture in Westminster and have a fresh start with a fair voting system. Add your name to @electoralreform.bsky.social‬'s call to #MakeSeatsMatchVotes

@sainsburys.bsky.social I am very unimpressed by your Sympathy Card selection. There are no Christian cards. Christians are not catered for at all. Very disappointing.

Experts Warn: 2C Climate Risks Greater Than Predicted Experts warn policymakers about severe climate risks as global warming approaches 2C, stressing urgent action to prevent economic and societal collapse.

Climate threats are significantly worse than thought even a few years ago - with 2Β°C now likely by 2050 without much more urgent action.

Government now needs to:

1️⃣ To tell the public
2️⃣ Pass emergency legislation

MPs: Please sign the Parliamentary Call for a televised emergency briefing πŸ‘‡

You need to make it easier to invite our MPs. Asking us to share a page is not as easy as providing an auto filling form that looks up our MP and sends automatically like charities do.

@martinlewis.moneysavingexpert.com it’s worth telling people who qualify to claim the Β£5k starter saving rate for tax using firm R40. HMRC do NOT apply it automatically and I’ve never spoken to an advisor who has heard of it! I end up educating them! Thanks for highlighting this on your show. 😊

Alarm is growing in the Lords at a minority using undemocratic tactics to stall the assisted dying Bill.
1,100+ amendments – including a β€œgrotesque” call to film every assisted death – aim to block progress, with risks to Lords reputation if they defy MPs' will.

She knows the realities - and limits - of managing pain. And amongst the varied decisions she has to make about her care, she wants to make the decision that matters most - about how she dies.
