I think the risk is airlines use it as a chance to sue and so passengers with serious health conditions are scared to fly, missing out on the joy of travel further afield. Perhaps airlines should provide better advice to passengers to prepare themselves to fly - consider how they to mitigate risks.

Mission Impossible - getting out of a chair or sitting down without making the “oof” noise 😉
