Truth: ICE rushed at unarmed protesters standing on a patch of grass

This is dangerous territory. The state trying to argue they get to decide who's a "real" journalist is how you end up with only fascist propagandists with cameras.

I don't think pointing out the fascists' 'hypocrisy' is a good use of time. It's not hypocrisy, it's hierarchy. They actually do believe that they have the right and obligation to dominate you because they are superior to you. They are using their power not being hypocritical.

Notice that he doesn't mention the unprovoked ICE attack on protesters at Broadview—who were already complying with the commands of police—probably bc his state cops assisted in that violent attack. He prob thought he could prevent the troop deployment by helping ICE police protesters. Didn't work.

On scene on 40th and Kedzie in Chicago, where locals are facing down militarized federal agents over a possible federal immigration enforcement- related shooting. Details still scarce and developing.

I called and talked about how the state cops joined ICE in brutalizing protesters today.

I’m told ICE attacked us—despite us being off the street, courtesy of the state police—to create a spectacle because Kristi Noem was present today. Here’s some footage of her and her team on the roof of Broadview. Everything is content creation to these fascists.

@govpritzker.illinois.gov owns every arrest and act of violence against protesters this morning. He is aiding and abetting Operation Midway Blitz by allowing state cops to do this. He tells us to film ICE. His cops have shoved me around for filming this morning.

State police assisted ICE in the performative brutalization and arrest of protesters today. @govpritzker.illinois.gov must answer for this.

In addition to unloading on demonstrators in Broadview, ICE is now randomly gassing people going about their day on the streets of Chicago

They can call it whatever they want, but by setting up a "Unified Command" to handle crowd control at Broadview, the Cook County Sheriffs and the Illinois State Police are performing security work for ICE—something that is not supposed to happen in this state.
