That resolution PASSED the DPA Rules Committee and, in less than 2 weeks, it heads to the full State Committee for a final vote. Stay tuned!

That’s why we’re urging the DPA to amend its rules and:
✅ Recognize YDAR, CDAR, and HSDAR as distinct organizations
✅ Guarantee each group has dedicated seats on the State Committee
✅ Make youth representation a permanent priority of party leadership

Right now, young voters make up 33% of Arkansas’s Democratic electorate—but hold less than 14% of DPA State Committee seats.

📢 YDAR News: Last week, the YDAR Executive Committee unanimously adopted a resolution for equitable representation for Arkansans 35 and under in the Democratic Party of Arkansas (DPA).
