Two more interviews and my dissertation data collection is DONE! I'm in contact with the last two interviewees so I'm not seeking more participants at this time--just celebrating!

Class 1 of the summer begins! Only a few emails about course shell problems so far, and all very polite. Hopefully this bodes well for the next six weeks.

Having to have 37 email accounts is definitely one of my least favorite things about being a human in 2025

I love doing trans-centered research. Undergrad me never could have imagined I'd end up here, but I made it.

Whoa! Opened up my school email to some lovely messages congratulating me on winning the Excellence in Teaching Award for Graduate Teaching Assistants from UB's Graduate School. I really can't express how everything I learned about teaching came from having incredible examples and mentorship.

Every time I finish an interview I feel a rush of gratitude. Sometimes, being a grad student sucks. But also, being a grad student, who gets to talk to trans people and pay them for their time, rocks
