I would prefer just getting resources directly than through a UBI, because we see with minimum wage even if it's implemented, they can just not change it until inflation wipes out its benefits. Indirect solutions open the door for problems.

That isn't an argument. If it's physically impossible to carry out economic calculation because there are too many inputs then by logical necessity a market cannot carry out economic calculation either. You have not actually made an argument as to why only markets can do it.
