Hey Mike, can you watch the video and say it's not wrong? Do the police need to say it’s wrong? If no one's charged, did it not happen? Lots of understandable reasons for people not to press charges. You're right - it's not Jimmy Savile Bad. But it ain't good and it doesn't mean it's not abuse.

He was a great actor. And now that you know, you had better be celebrating his death the right way, or I am going to ask that you be fired from your job. πŸ˜‰

RIP Eddie Giacomin. Giacomin was #1 in Rangers' programs and #1 in their hearts. Impossible to understate the love Rangers' fans had for Eddie Giacomin. Here Giacomin tells Sam Rosen of his career highlight. Godspeed Mr. Giacomin. πŸ™

Giacomin was 86.

I don't think he'd be in mine, but he was still one of the greats. I hate the opinion out there that he was overrated.

The game of hockey and the world has lost a giant. Ken Dryden has passed away.

The big saves, the pose, the clutch playoff performances, the mask - all iconic stuff. And of course, the way he talked and wrote about the game. Dryden was 78.

Godspeed, Mr. Dryden. πŸ™

RIP Mark Kirton. Kirton was diagnosed in 2018 with ALS. He fought, educated & inspired.

Here's a clip of legends Bruce Martyn & Sid Abel talking about the "good little hockey player" the Wings got in the Rutherford deal. Now the league upstairs gets a great human being. RIP.πŸ™ Kirton was 67.

Rest In Peace Alex Delvecchio. When Delvecchio retired in 1973-74 he was 2nd only to long time linemate Gordie Howe in career points and games played. A true legend on the ice and by all accounts, a true gentlemen off of it. Fats was 93. Godspeed, Mr. Delvecchio.

RIP Greg Millen. Millen played in 604 regular season NHL games. He played for the Penguins, Whalers, Blues, Blackhawks, Nords & Wings. Millen played the 2nd most games between the pipes during the 1980s. He then shared his knowledge (& humour) as a colour commentator for many years. Millen was 67.

Alex Ovechkin & Wayne Gretzky have more in common than the same number of NHL career goals. They both support authoritarian mother fuckers.

There is nothing like Opening Day. Takes me back to Larry Robinson was on the mound pitching to Kevin McCarthy. Don Edwards was a hell of a catcher as well. Guy Lafleur could have been a little more consistent as an umpire though.

yeah, I'll bet. A few players seem to have regressed (thinking of two key pieces in particular) but you would know better than I. If you had to pinpoint a reason, what would you say?

Good question. I'm not sure. I do know though that if it happens to the Rangers this year that it will be at least the 2nd time. It happened in the early 90's and they actually almost also missed after winning the Cup - they made the playoffs by 1 point the next yr (before eliminating the Nords).
