Honestly one of the main feelings I had after we beat Man U, as fun as it was, was frustration.
Because we didnβt bring that performance against Everton, or Brentford, or West Ham.
It will take more than the odd isolated gutsy performance to make me think itβs all good in the long run.
Toxic positivity is as bad as destructive criticism.
My current position is that I react to the performances as I see them
Until I see a string of meaningful positive results (not beating Spurs & Qarabag) the jury is out.
You can love Howe for what heβs done whilst being real about where we are
Just dunno if I buy it. Not that my buy in means anything.
But we arenβt the only club that plays a lot.
Weβve had a similar schedule to this before and been better defensively, offensively and mentally.
Think itβs starting to taste like thin gruel for some.
I think a lot of peopleβs issue is the clear pattern of defensive and mental frailty, that isnβt uncharacteristic anymore.
Not sure that can entirely attributed to depth and tired legs?
Where does that explanation go if it continues when weβre playing an eased off schedule from now until May?
Hahah

The game to judge has to be on the horizon then no?
Itβs been a good while of the same patterns and habits..
Respect everyoneβs view. But my position is that every game that passes gives the supporters an opportunity to analyse it. For better or worse.
We arenβt passive spectators.
Would a cursed AI slop image of Eddie in Meme form reignite your fire, perhaps?

Iβm not actually even angry.
Just at the point of making jokes out of the material Iβm given now. Purely for the sport.
Could be worse. We could be Spurs.
That increased revenue will keep my passion for the game burning.

When do βuncharacteristic defensive mistakesβ become characteristic?
I feel like itβs gotta be soon, right?
Itβs March.
Call me crazy.
But I donβt think itβs a good thing that we poo our pants every time we score.
Iβd like to say that weβre a 45 minute side.
But youβre right. Weβre a 15-20 minute side.
And even that isnβt guaranteed.
Thatβs fair. There will be another angering loss soon.
Plenty of opportunities for shit slinging in the coming weeks.
Now the empty seats chants...
The irony is strong.
Then again, I suppose when you canβt mock us for Human rights issues, and Sportwashing + dodgy accounting is off the table, what else can you go with?
Canβt help but feel that I just did.

They expanded their ground just to cover up the seats.
Donβt even sell out champions league home games.
Many angles to attack us from, that is not one of them π
Man City fans singing about our lack of atmosphere.
You may be winning lads, but letβs not throw stones in glass houses here.
Letβs be serious for a moment.
I wonder how Germanyβs starting centre forward feels about playing as a number 8 a few months before his first World Cup?
Bet he absolutely loves it.
Might fuck around and score a goal before instantly capitulating π

We are actually hilarious.
This lot couldnβt hold a lead if their Parents lives depended on it.
