For decades, Indigenous peoples have gathered on Alcatraz Island in California to hold a sunrise ceremony on Thanksgiving Day.
But could President Donald Trump's plans to redevelop the island and its infamous prison change that?

It was early December 1969, and Otis Moss Jr. had arrived at the Shillito's department store in downtown Cincinnati on a mission.
