NEW COMIC: Deep Thoughts

Also hard to not mention to my colleagues. One has been visibly upset that they likely won't get one next year, and I totally understand why they haven't been considered. Sorry, but getting a couple AWS certs doesn't automatically make you qualify, got some other areas to improve yet.

Year end reviews are always hard to do for me. Admittedly this year's is the most fleshed out it's ever been. Normally its just a list of bullets points with a handful of words. Maybe my manager mentioning he's going to try to push for a promotion for me helped me fluff it out.

I was already planning to replace the exterior doors on the house next year. The front door is pretty drafty with this northerly wind, and I already tried to seal it the best I could.

I'm having the worst luck with my network controller. Cloud Key just up and died lil over a month ago. Dusted off the ol raspberry PI and got Unifi Network installed on that. Now the SD card in it just burned up.

While work has had me kinda burnt out for awhile, manager just told me they're gonna try and set me up for a promotion next year.

Re: every headline involving education

Picked Raz up from his ultrasound, he's a space cadet. Should get the results in a couple days, and hopefully start getting some answers.

Vet wants to do an ultrasound, and a potentially a couple other tests, depending what the prior finds.

Man, I wish we could figure out what's wrong with Raz. He frequently doesn't have an appetite and has gotten sick several times. His blood work and stool samples came back perfectly fine. We've tried a couple different foods thinking its a food insensitivity. Nothing has really changed.

Time to assume the chest/belly brush position

Guess I'm looking to get a pull behind dethatcher come spring (and probably an aerator too). Knew the lawn was gonna need a lot of work next year. Did approx a 500 sq st area just to see how bad it was, almost filled a 32 gallon trash can.

He gets a B for effort. Slowly working on this trick.

Hate feeling stressed out over money. It might've not been a good idea to replace all the windows on the house so soon, just got another expensive car repair bill. Plus Raz hasn't been feeling all that well and the things the vet wants to do are also quite expensive.

Taste of fall today. Ready but not ready.

One more week until I can finally have spending money again. Windows are finally getting installed, provided the weather holds out.

Survived the nearly 10 inches of rain. Lost power for 24 hours. Very fortunate to not have any flooding, know several people that weren't so lucky.

Coworker was kind enough to bring over a couple coolers and ice to keep food from going bad.
