Applies, as far as I'm aware, to other areas of medicine too, where Cass's "gold standard" of double blind clinical trials may not be feasible for practical or ethical reasons.

For example, obstetrics.

The framing around "evidence" in the entire Cass review is basically fraudulent.

It's particularly egregious that Cass was deliberately disingenuous about standards of evidence, given that she was a paediatrician.

A lot of paediatric medicine lacks the kind of "high quality" evidence that Cass keeps banging on about.

That doesn't mean it isn't good medicine, AS CASS KNOWS.
