It is currently Black History Month in the United Kingdom. Britain’s past as an empire and slave trader meant that many people of colour came to Brighton, but the earliest we know of were free professionals who made lives for themselves as important members of Brighton Society.

I use and endorse these masks! They are particularly good for haircut appointments and for MRIs. The adhesive is hypoallergenic. The Large size (the middle of the three sizes offered) fits most adults, including my smaller-than-average face and my mom‘s larger-than-average face.

All of this makes a huge case for we are chronically under teaching/supporting critical thinking & science literacy at all levels (including in just normal adult life). It's wild!
