Seconded!
Also, there's a ton of us who can't bring ourselves to fully delete the wee snippets wee clipped off & straightened out (incase it's useful for someone else), so while the tree is trimmed, the number count could be higher due to scraps hanging on.
Best I find is just to message folks.
Mine's been a bit fractious yesterday & again this morning. I'm hoping it clears by the weekend.

I wonder if they're rotating through? We're on UST. Last year a lot of things were early evening our time, which would've been early morning tomorrow for East Asia & morning day of for Pacific US.
Whatever they're doing it's bloody clever!
Definitely - YouTube is really well set up for that. Ah well, hopefully as time goes on, the access measures will get stronger & stronger.

link on the way to identifying the currently lost Sassano ancestor's line.
Only slight rub: the small cluster linking to this new lady goes back to Cork. ...so how to get from Cork to Italy without any mariners in the family (that we know of) - Matteo himself was a railwayman.
Fun times!
Hello #AcestryHour
For once I made it!
Made big strides in the spouse's DNA matches this week (no mean feat for France & Italy).
From some new matches, managed to trace another pair of spouse's 4th, 5th & 6th GGPs.
On the Italian side, chasing a new #Gedmatch match who might be a missing

Yes, I miss that aspect too. Such a shame to lose that bit of accessibility, but at least we still get to join in from afar.

It's an interesting phenomenon that, isn't it. The last few years I've been noticing every time that there's usually things I'd like to see on at oppositional times.
It makes me v. curious as to how the timetable's made. I'm hoping 1 yr someone will do a 'Making of Rootstech' documentary & show us.
Greetings #AncestryHour!
This week I'm preparing for #RootsTech by gathering handouts from talks that are not being broadcast for those of us #NotAtRootsTech (thank you presenters, much appreciated!) and looking over the online schedule to see what talks I might watch. So many are at 7 am PST. ๐ญ
Congratulations! ๐

Wishing you all a really lovely Monday 2 March.
I hope you have a lovely day and that this Monday is kind to you.
Blue mushroom trays planted with seeds on a windowsill.
Got the veg seeds on finally (!)
That simple 1-2hrs task has taken all day with my hands as they are.
I even fumbled the runner beans for crying out loud!
So much for getting anything else done now.
May even have to take a nap.

๐๐งฌ New research has revealed that the Old Irish Goat shares a 3,000-year genetic link with goats living in Ireland during the Late Bronze Age.
The findings suggest the rare indigenous breed represents a continuous Irish lineage stretching back millennia.

Sounds idyllic. Enjoy!

Thank you so much again to everyone who came along, or supported in any other way with the #DIFF Inclusion panel this morning.
So many wonderful folks in there & every single one has a little piece to add in.
We do this thing incrementally.
If ever I can help, or anything, sing out!

รlisabeth Louise Vigรฉe Le Brun (1755 โ1842) was a French portrait painter in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Completely self-taught, she faced many obstacles due to her gender, and was finally admitted to the French Academy as one of only four women members. #CelebratingWomen

3 months ago today we were hit in an RTA.
This is how my hands are at rest today.
I'm getting better overall at stilling them if I actively concentrate really hard, but it means I'm left with less brain for anything else & a permanent headache from the effort.
It's worse the more tired I get.
Yeah. I spotted those too. I wasn't sure if the seam line would obstruct a little for lipreading?
Surely there has to be an option. We'll find it somewhere...
Sadly I find myself in the same boat. I had one excellent set early on in lockdown. That store appears to be gone.
If you end up hearing that of any, please would you shout me too (& I'll shout you if I find any).
