Onto announcements, Fan Festival 2026 in Anaheim, CA, USA tickets are currently on sale to players with an active subscription. This event will take place April 24-25, 2026 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Since there are a lot of optimizations involved to make this work [he doesn't want to explain server infrastructure behind his ability to prevent incorrect information] but once these are completed they can move on to additional glamour plates, etc.

Regarding housing, Yoshida says they are in the final stages of updates to the system, but will need until Patch 7.5 to implement them. The planned changes are rather CPU-intensive so they need to proceed carefully.

The team is relaxing a long-held policy of certain types of gear glamour only being equip-able by certain roles. "Use any gear in your glamour, irrespective of class, job or level restriction." However, weapons/tools are exempt due to animations.

The team demonstrates an example. Have a configuration like this in your UI? Migrate them to the Command Panel.

A 'Command Panel' has been added based on feedback. Anything you can add to a hotbar can be added to the command panel, which consists of four separate panels with 25 slots each. Great for emotes, gear sets, macros, etc. to consolidate HUD space.

Yoshida notes that, like the development of the Pilgrim's Traverse deep dungeon, player feedback has driven the changes to the variant & criterion dungeon design.

Resuming now with a look at a new variant dungeon: 'The Merchant's Tale'. Yoshida notes its unique style, fit for a Pictomancer perhaps...

The Occult Crescent will be updated with new phantom jobs: Mystic Knight, Dancer, and Gladiator.

Phantom weapons will be upgradeable to item level 775, and the items necessary will be found in the Occult Crescent.

The Manderville Gold Saucer mini-game "Air Force One" will be updated with a new course: "The Cieldalaes".

In Patch 7.4, PvP Series 10 will begin and PvP actions will see adjustments. A new Frontline map/campaign will be added. This map, "Worqor Chirteh", seen here in Urqopacha from the Dawntrail expansion. More details in the next broadcast.

The third and concluding tier of the Arcadion raid series will occur in the "Heavyweight Tier". A normal and savage-level difficulty will be added.

A new trial will be added: "Hell on Rails" featuring this familiar fellow. A normal and extreme-level difficulty will be added.

A new expert dungeon will be added: "Mistwake". This will be encountered during the main scenario quest.

Final Fantasy XIV 7.4 "Into the Mist" will release Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
