Sometimes you just lose all motivation and put a big pause on your current project to instead focus on redesigning an old character, just the way it is (Also I haven't drawn in a while so was nice to go back to it)

The only joy I get out of rigging is putting my characters in stupid poses or seeing how broken the auto generated weights are. Huge respect to anyone that properly understand rigging cause I sure don't

Wasn't overly happy with the old material for him so had a play around with it. Think I'm happier now, feels a lot less flat (also fixed some of his proportions cause they were weird)

A lot of my more recent characters have been me trying to find an art style, still a little lost with that but I'll get there. Can't wait to get some more projects completed and hopefully improve some more!

Maybe someday I'll also figure out cropping on bluesky to stop everything looking awful

Character models were my initial focus; recently I've been looking into backgrounds a bit more. Hoping to be able to make full scenes on my own

I initially started learning Blender during lockdown so that I could finish working on my dissertation at the time. Didn't properly pick up on it as a hobby till late 2021, sadly never re-captured the mastery I had in that first piece

Officially been 5 years since I started using Blender!

Did start my 3D stuff using 3DSMax but never really get going with it. Thought I’d share some pieces from over the years, can’t wait to learn more and maybe start using this for work instead of as a hobby!
