Truth be told, I ended up liking the painting better with the eyes subdued. I never did remove the thin painted tape, so the painting (which hangs in a hallway leading to my studio) still looks like the book cover. 1/2

I went along with her opinion, but I never felt comfortable with the decision: I made the change by painting the eyes on removable plastic tape, so I would have the option of restoring the painting to its original state! 4/5

I'm glad you reported him. I can't stand the "It's all in your head!" excuse they use for their laziness and lack of curiosity.

Insurance really are fuckheads to all of us.

So the doctors judge me for not getting the test, but the insurance won't cover the test, and it would be a few thousand for me to cover it out of pocket and I don't have that funnily enough. :-/

I took 3 pills (1.5 day dose) and it took a month for my body to heal from the damage, & I had tendon issues in my heels that went on for 6 months. I suspect I know what caused it, but I'm stuck not being able to get the test covered by insurance because it's rare and they won't approve it.

Oh, I put it on my chart. They like to put it down as "muscle pain" but the reality is that it shreds my connective tissue and will potentially kill me. There's a black box warning for it for people with connective tissue disorders, so I suspect I have an undiagnosed connective tissue thing going on

I had a bad reaction to ciprofloxacin and nurses/doctors think I'm full of it when I talk about it. I have never understood how people in the medical industry are so incompetent with these things, but I guess many of the good ones burn out or something...
