Bylaw staff say standard size vehicles are fine it would have to be an oversized cube van or ice cream truck type vehicle.

I'll double check but that would surprise me.

Many streets are authorized for Lower Boulevard Parking. Its a quick neighbourhood survey if people want it in their area. I've done 10-20 per year over the last 3 years. Here's the list as of Dec 2025.

Typically, this is due to a street obstruction – like a parked car. We won’t always get back if that’s the case, but if the operator just missed the driveway, we can notify our snow team and they will attempt to get back when they can. For fastest service with the best coverage hours, contact 311.

We’ve heard from people that the windrow program has been a success overall and people are truly appreciating it. Still, with this being a new program and a challenging winter with 134,000 driveways to clear, we’ve missed a few individual driveways while doing streets.

My genuine appreciation to everyone who has written, called or attended a meeting. I have made fair taxes a top priority of mine during my time on Council. Thank you for helping me in that effort this year.

I am convinced that the level of engagement we have had through this budget process, going all the way back to the summer, has made a real difference in what the final budget will be this year.

I remember attending a budget meeting around 2019 where there were two of us in the audience.

It was great to see just under 100 people come out last night to our Budget 2026 meeting. I was impressed by residents understanding of the issues, their sincere questions and their thoughtful comments.

At Region Councillors were much more supportive of restrait this year. I proposed $12.4m in reductions. This year it's 175 officers, 44 paramedics, 58 bylaw staff and no new services. We are still having debates Monday, Tuesday & a special 6pm session for residents to attend Tuesday night. Come out

I voted against last year's hike as did 3 others. None of the reductions I suggested were accepted last year. We added a lot of new services such as windrows, sidewalk clearance, $ for arts, seniors free programs + new bylaw staff, paramedics, housing/homelessness, water and the 300 officers.

The city side is looking at 1.6% but when you add the Region of Peel its higher.
