We’re exhausted. Got the cats 1/2 hour ago. A non stop chorus of howling just stopped with only an occasional forlorn yowl.

They both found and used the new litter box so that was good. Here they are doing a cautious inspection.

Moved in. Ferrets are exploring their new domain with big puffed tails. Poor critters. Their anxiety is spiking on this
terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

Move went smoothly. Nice bunch of fellas. One kicked a heroin addiction 10 years ago. Now he's married with 2 boys; his top priority.

Stevie Cookie the tuxedo cat, and Backpack and Andy, both tabby and white; all three jammed into one small cat bed that comfortably accommodates one fat cat. It's not at all cold in the garage, and there are lots of other beds of varying sizes, but for reasons know only to them, they've mashed themselves into a very compact cat pile in that one because cat.

Outside temperature: 24f (-5C). Garage temperature? 24F? No. 40F? (4C)? No. 60F (16C)? Yes. Number of cat beds? 1? No. 5? No. 11? Yes. Contents of one small bed they've knocked off the shelf? Three skinny cats with thin fur and little insulation? No. The three chonkiest garage kitties I have? Yes.

My boss told me to have a good day. So I went home.
