Melton Mowbray

Earlier this week I was in #MeltonMowbray where I met the two security staff who are out patrolling the town centre two days a week. We will be evaluating results in a few weeks to see if the experiment is a success.

This morning I met with #farmer Simon Orson near #MeltonMowbray to discuss agricultural crime, ASB in rural area & related issues. Some good ideas forthcoming.

Marine Jonathan Wigley, aged 21 from #MeltonMowbray, and of Zulu Company 45 Commando Royal Marines, was shot and killed in action, whilst on an operation in Garmsir, Helmand Province, Afghanistan
