🧑‍🤝‍🧑This week our #MarineConservation volunteers carried out 6 #DolphinWatch surveys! 📝 Another week of mixed weather conditions mean some surveys were cancelled. 🌦️ But we had sightings of dolphins and a seal. 🐬

Dab are a common type of flatfish found around the UK. 🐠 They swim just above the seabed waiting for prey. 👀 They then quickly dive down to capture their food! 🍽️ Dab are also prey species for bottlenose dolphins. 🐬

🧑‍🤝‍🧑This week our #MarineConservation volunteers carried out 10 #DolphinWatch surveys! 📝There were brief sightings of dolphins towards the end of the week.🐬 Our favourite, Snowcap was spotted on Friday.🏔️

📢 Our visitor centre will be open for February half term from Monday 16th to Friday 20th of February🙌✨
