And this is why people pay for Strava and not Garmin. I haven't checked Garmin but I bet it's analysis is along the lines of "pathetic human, give your Garmin to someone who deserves it" :) or something like that. Garmin needs to tune the AI to be a little nicer :)

I remember presenting in central London when there was a tube strike. This was before i cycled and the drive-in (and even though I had pre booked parking..)was an absolute nightmare. Now I'm almost looking forward to a tube strike as it would be quite fun to cycle in for an event !

Indeed they walk amongst us. This was at the duckpond market. Daughter was next to me so I asked her if I could have handled it better and her response was "no that was just an incredibly rude lady" - bought my cheese online instead as the seller saw what happened and just shrugged.

All I said to her was "excuse me there is a queue"

Just got called a "weirdo" and "pathetic" by some lady who stepped Infront of me in a queue. What has happened to basic manners ? We are all waiting our turn and just because you are old doesn't mean to get to step Infront of others

This sounds like somebody is attempting to make sure that they have somewhere else to go to after New Zealand..... I can't say that I am shocked - it makes me realize why I'm not on Twitter anymore

Of course then somebody will feed all of the data breaches into some big llm and have an amazingly scary queryable model on pretty much everybody who's online.... And please don't think I'm the only person to think about this

Given the current velocity of personal data breaches, I'm hoping that somebody more intelligent can work out "at what point is there no more information to leak on the majority of the population who is online" it must be possible to set a line in the sand whereby all data has then been leaked

to be fair its probably already in the shadow profile ( you share the same last name and come in from the same residential IP and there are photos of the kids in the parents fb feed )

Additionally how do they know who the parents of the children are in the first place? Sometimes I can't help but wonder if this is just one extra data point that they're looking to try and get and then dress it up as providing a safety feature
