Several of our teachers enjoyed 2 1/2 days of math teachers’ summer camp at NCCAT nccat.org in the mountains of N.Carolina. We explored w/other elementary through college teachers topics like ‘folding fractions’, equitably slicing bread, AI, & more - w/ good food & better company. #mathcamp #mtbos

We're well into 2025 but wanted to send belated holiday greetings. In late December we had a holiday part with 70-80 students, teachers, teaching assistants, and families enjoying a very nice #vegan meal at Vimala's Curryblossom Cafe followed by a math white elephant gift exchange. #mtbos #mathParty

Our younger students looked at counting number of gifts in #theTwelveDaysofChristmas; our older ones in "50 Days of Linear Equations". There's fun exploratory math for all levels and cool patterns to be found including the hockeystick pattern in #pascalsTriangle . #mtbos #mathisfun #happyHolidays
