Chunk of limonite quartz, a translucent yellow/orange faceted crystal
A polished piece of labradorite. The rock shines an iridescent light blue to yellow in the light.
A chunk of pyrite, also known as fools gold. This geometric piece is very shiny in the sun!
A piece of spinel. This sample is dull, but the weathered edges and smooth facets are fun to study.
Love collecting rocks for reference! A few of my favorites:
1)Limonite quartz - I got this yellow crystal when we started work on Hallowfall!
2)Labradorite - love the iridescent colors; reminds me a bit of Azerite in WoW
3)Pyrite - SHINY!!!
4)Spinel - the facets/surface details are fun to study

A warm yellow crystal, cracked and faceted but still glowing, is held aloft by curved metal brackets over a circular well. A golden metal sun caps the top of the well, where priests would place glowing crystal fragments to keep the crystal's light shining.

This is a massive book, taller than a man, with heavy golden brackets on its corners and a large yellow crystal set into the cover. The book stands at an angle against a large metal frame atop a circular pedastal, with marble steps leading up to it. The book is open to a page with a detailed illustration depicting a fleet of airships flying across an unknown ocean, and elegant runes in the Arathi language describing their voyage.
