The dolphin nebula is a teal blue bubble nebula. It has a beak-like section off to one side, resembling a semi-profile view of a dolphin. The majority of the bubble is teal but there are redish-white accents throughout.
I also managed to find some time to process the Dolphin (SH2-308) today. I'm super happy with the detail I was able to get in the Oiii (blue/teal). I'm really shocked at how little HA (red) came through. I think I'd have to go really deep on it to pull the HA out.

This is quite an obscure occult novel involving the mystical powers of the mandrake root. In this book it enables the swapping of bodies with a dying man. Published in 1902.

In the Museum of Night, sunlight is held in tinted jars, muted, just enough that vampires can stand and stare. Such a dangerous pleasure!

I revisited Hamburg last week and had to see the Verner Panton room again. Designed for Spiegel publishing house in 1969, people ate lunch here every day π€©

That looks fantastic, great line-up. I would absolutely attend this, but I can't do three nights. It's a shame they don't do day tickets without camping.

Folklorist Icy Sedgewick on stage at Conway Hall on 22 November 2025. The stage is wood-panelled and Icy is in a green dress. Text on a screen says: "The most dramatic and awesome of all the boggarts.
A Frightful goblin armed with teeth and claws, having eyes as big as saucers, and loaded with heavy chains, which rattle and clank."

Detail of an unfinished painting of Prussia Cove in Cornwall. Painted looking along the wall as it curves into the hillside, leading the eye back to the rounded cliffs. The slopes are covered with rough vegetation and trees; a cottage is visible behind the tree line along the ridge, blurred by clouds and rain. The palette is a mix of greys, greens and gold, with extra scribbles in oil sticks to add detail and texture.

Itβs March. March's birthstones are gravel and pebbledash. These stones symbolize courage. Its birth flower is the daffodil, but only a daffodil picked from the Llyn peninsula. The zodiac signs are Hale until March 20 and Pace from March 21 onward
