We are in Oregon - coverage is excellent - and I am a retired RN who spent 20 years in the acute care setting so I know what good coverage looks like. I am sorry that is not the case where you live. I also grew up in a country with socialized medicine and I agree, medical insurance is awful overall.

Not sure where you live. We have found it to be excellent healthcare coverage.

We started buying ACA coverage in 2021. Not only is the care and coverage excellent but costs have steadily declined. I had a parathyroidectomy in April and paid less than $500 out of pocket for everything from MD visits to the actual surgery at a major hospital. It is a life changingly good thing.
