There are multiple posts on this thread from people trying to say that it’s hopeless, and that there’s no point in acting. In this context, I think it beared pointing out.

Then we need to let them know that people *are* looking.

I don’t understand why people who bought into hopelessness are bothering to make posts and comments discouraging people from acting. It’s one thing to feel too lethargic to do anything useful, but you are literally helping our oppressors here.

I called my Senators. Everyone else: there’s a script on the 5 calls app. If possible, please use that first, and *then* feel sad and lethargic.

1. Unseat Hakeem Jeffries as minority leader and humiliate him as an example.

2. Prevent any legislation from being passed whatsoever. Filibuster. Let the GOP accomplish *nothing.*

3. Literally every dirty trick the GOP has used the past four years.

I just installed these purple buttons to my Miyoo. I think there’s something to be said about paying a little more attention and care to the things we use frequently and sometimes take for granted. Or maybe I just need an excuse to take things apart and put them back together.

I just try to get all of my dinner meat from the co op. The butchers over there can probably help at least point you in the right direction.

2. I still park skate and trail skate on a regular basis, but I take it much easier. I’m still available to teach folks how to skate a half pipe, but there isn’t really an org or a ‘gram for it anymore. Just informal word of mouth stuff. I stay in it for my health. I bought a trampoline for cardio.

1. I have quit roller derby for good. My body locks up at the thought of doing another practice. This was a huge chapter for me to turn, and it will never be fully out of my system. If you knew me as “Amazon” before, you may continue to call me that if you like.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted actively on social media. I want to bring my thoughts, expressions, small wins, and bits of my life here. Like I did with FB.

There’s a gap in my timeline though. Some catching up is in order…
