Yeah it is. The chance to vote for Bernie or an anti-establishment candidate was in the 2016 election during that primary and then again in 2020(Warren, Buttigieg all good reps). As per usual few showed up and then made lots of noise when they didn't like the end result.

Roy Cooper looks like a solid candidate who raised a lot of money in a swing state. Whether or not you want to believe it this is generally a good thing.

Not exactly. There's a portion of the harder left wing of the DNC party that's not satisfied with those that aren't as left wing as they are. They're pushing a more ideological purity agenda. Compromise is seen as a sign of weakness. One could argue that we shouldn't be compromising with MAGA...
