I kinda like movie Hammond, in a "this take works as an oversimplification for the sake of run time" way. Even with the most pure of intentions the park is doomed because of his overconfidence. He's a rich child, not a businessman.
But yeah, book Hammond is a lot more compelling.

Im glad im not the only one who finds yarn store knitting circles too tempting. I can afford hobby supplies, but my aspirations outpace my knitting speed

Realistically, yes, that is easier, but this is hitting me in my weak points. I struggle specifically w/ impulse buying hobby supplies. Spending several hours every week with a bunch of people working on neat stuff and inspiring me only makes it harder when the supplies are RIGHT THERE.

I can only knit so fast!

I did try going to a knitting circle and it was really fun. The issue there it was in a fiber arts store and I kept on impulse buying more yarn. I don't mind spending money, I mind having a massive stash I will never get through.
