Furthermore, a long-term evaluation found that speed cameras reduced the likelihood of fatal or incapacitating injuries by 39% on residential roads and decreased speeding by 62% compared to similar roads without cameras.

A large percentage of drivers (up to 95%) are aware of cameras and report slowing down, indicating that cameras effectively change driver behavior.

Speed kills, whether the victim is a pedestrian, bicyclist, driver or roadside worker.
