A2 We would like to transform our monthly School Organization Team meetings so that more families attend & participate. It is a mandatory meeting that we have to have every month to share data, budget, concerns, etc. We advertise, have snacks, etc. Hardly anyone attends. #leadLAP

Yes! We have ensured every student has a teacher facilitating our intervention/acceleration block not a computer program. #LeadLAP

Our social workers, Community in Schools liaison, teacher, & I meet w/parent to discuss what we can do as a team to improve attendance for the student. At times it is simple as family coats, explaining academic growth, &/or reassuring the kids are safe at school. We make a plan & all sign. #LeadLAP

A1 I believe a practice we have transformed in our building is attendance is to make families accountable for attendance. Our families are invited to family attendance parties and meetings. We want them involved. #LeadLAP
