I'm sure there was a headline quite recently that EV sales had 'tanked', now the headline says there are 'record numbers of electric cars selling in Australia'. This Road User's Charge discussion appears to be being driven by the Fossil Fuel Lobby.

Star Track did a similar thing with a package from Telstra for the Mother-in-Law in Harden (just outside the ACT). It took us a couple of weeks dealing with Star Track, before it declared the package 'lost'. It took about a month for a replacement to be sent.

We are also looking at a Sigenery system for our new build over on the Eyre Peninsular. We are going to retrofit after the build has been completed (we can't afford the builder's premium). It's the gateway tech and the integrated EV charging that we think makes the system so attractive.

I'm not sure about the 'bold interiors' offered by some of the EVs. We have decided on the Geely EX5, with the midnight interior. It's functional & that's important. We just need get our new efficient house completed over on the Eyre Peninsular to free up the money to order the EX5

I did a test drive of a Geely EX5 a couple of weeks ago & really loved it. I agree that there's more interior space that the BYD Atto3. I'm looking to buy an EV in the new few months (after the build of our new house is completed), and it's looking like the EX5 will be the one.

Yes, but learning about your energy plan, or finding better energy offers would require effort, complaining is much easier.

Entirely possible if they are on a TOU Tariff and don't understand load shifting, have a large ducted air-conditioner running all the time, and possibly a pool-pump or spa. Even worse if they have Demand Pricing. @reneweconomy.com.au has had articles about people not understanding TOU pricing.

The LNP don't like their own words repeated back to them, which is why they're infuriated by this ad.
