I've been having lots of research consults w/ our law journal note writers the past 2 wks (including one this afternoon). Faculty advising on student comments, recommend a consult w/ a librarian. It'll help students get off on the right foot & it's the kind of in-depth research we love helping with.

As librarians and educators, we have a responsibility not to push forward neuromyths, even if they are super common. We need to be a proponent of evidence-based teaching and learning. /2

Really disappointing to see the American Association of Law Librarians include a must-have for the 2024 conference on "accommodating different learning styles." There are numerous studies debunking the idea that students learn best when learning in their "preferred style." /1 #legaled #lawlibrarians
