This blanket I made for my niece that took 3 years to complete! It’s the Unicorn Dreams blanket by Cute Crochet Makes. Some of the granny square designs came from random free floral patterns I found online that had the correct dimensions for the blanket. 🧶 #crochet

Thank you! And I totally agree! It took me 3 years to reach that milestone, but the health issues were piling up, which gave me the motivation to lose the weight. 🙂

The image of the ball gown here was from a museum exhibit, and the Nymeria dress image was from Michele Carragher’s page. 🙂 But I made my own versions too (not pictured)! I made the Labyrinth ballgown 4 years ago. Then I lost 60 lbs, so alterations are now needed. 😬

Which costume I should focus on: my Labyrinth ballgown or Nymeria’s pink dress from Game of Thrones? The ballgown needs to be taken in, and I need to embroider Nymeria’s dress (not complaining about that at all!). Which one do you think I should work on? #cosplay

My current obsession is my recreation of the “Breathe” dress from the Ever After film. So far I’ve embroidered all the scalloped motifs to the skirt panels. Now I’m working on adding the pearl beads into each of the scallops. Wish me luck!

Finished folding 1,000 tiny paper cranes as of this morning, and spent an additional 2 hours sorting them out by their pretty colors. 😊

Throwback to my first major embroidery project: my cosplay of Sansa Stark’s Kings Landing wedding dress. It was also my first time doing goldwork embroidery too. This is the embroidered panel on the back of sash she wore around the bodice.

I prefer to crochet, probably because I know more stitches and can make more things with crochet, but for sweaters, I like the look of knitted sweaters better.

It’s also great for creating a ribbing-like design too. 🙂 The popcorn stitch is actually my favorite stitch! I used it quite a bit to make designs for my niece’s blanket.

A little while ago, I had this idea to crochet Totoro plushies in all colors of the rainbow…with flowers. I also took advantage of the yarn sales at Joann to buy all the squishy chenille yarn in the needed colors too. This is the first one, in shades of pink! 🧶
