The tutorial is a bit TOO wordy, yeah. But the crux of the issue is.... well, it makes you want to grind Drawing Magic, and then also *never* use it.
I love the concept, and I don't know how to fix it, but it's an odd negative feedback loop. XD
I love FF8, but I'll admit it has a LOT of clunk to it. Junctioning is a fun idea but a perfect example of the game's problems as well.
