On Saturday I potted up some moss poles.

This is a follow up from my lest post … here are some progress photos of the maidenhair fern growth.
I am currently gardening to assist my recovery from my breakdown, so you may see a lot more photos of plants.
Working with plants again is helping me to get my energy back and feel like I am contributing to the world.
I'm thinking of starting a Goth Gardening Club … anyone interested?
Three weeks ago I decided to help my therapy along by working on the garden and our indoor plant collection. Since then they are now thriving and I have been able to start growing some maidenhair ferns from dad. He hadn't any luck so I thought I'd try. I now have a mini frond & baby fronds emerging.

Today I am one year older. We purchased these plants and I hope to grow them to maturity.
It doesn't seem like it was any different than being 5 years younger. The breakdown has taken years out of my life and I'm having to start/learn again.
- Good moments are few and far between currently and I’m trying to keep a record of them.

- This was taken on a day I had enough energy to sit outside with the cats. Immediately after I took the picture my hips started to hurt and I felt I had to go back inside, but I wasn’t able to stand by myself.

- In August 2022, I caught COVID. My whole world changed, as the virus then exacerbated my conditions. In September 2022 I had to stop working and I haven’t been working since. Sometime in 2023 I had an idea to document what happened but it was incredibly overwhelming.
- I also wanted to explore how feet can be photographed without being sexualised
- I love my feet because they have allowed me to dance and feel joy through movement. Unfortunately because of my EDS POTS and long COVID (chronic fatigue) I am no longer able to stand for long periods, let alone dance

I'm needing to clean a Sheep Skin Rug.
To clean leather it's advised not to submerge it in water for extended periods of time. Treat it like your leather shoes. You can clean it with Saddle soap. You will also need to be gentle with the wool as well and use a gentle detergent
