It's hurting everywhere! Cant hunt in the woods anymore, Houston had DNR cut and the forests logged. Cant use the library anymore, budget funding being froze puts layoffs around the corner. Cant see local history anymore, the museums are being shuttered. Houston getting blood from stone kinda budget

Just sent a *very* frustrated email to my local MLA about the Nova Scotia budget. These cuts cannot stand, and I highly suggest my other NS peeps do the same

I had to do a lot of that work myself, putting it out on review sites, giving out ARCs for free, outreach towards friends in the scene, writer co-ops, you name it. All of which cost money and time. If I didn't have a day-job to put resources into my writing, my writing wouldn't exist.
