AI is a tool that can be helpful, but it seems to me that a lot of companies went "We need AI" without stopping to ask the why and figure out if it was relevant.

IMHO most bugs are not pure coding errors. Most are causing by not understanding data, customer needs, or the underlying constraints of a system (memory, IO, etc). LLMs do nothing to help any of these things.
